Rufus Wainwright for intimate Dublin show
He’s on the line-up for Oxegen, and now Rufus Wainwright has announced he will be returning to Ireland for an intimate show in Dublin’s Vicar Street this winter.
The Canadian-American singer plays Vicar Street on October 10, in what will be his Irish first date after he plays Oxegen on Sunday July 8.
Rufus, son of musician and actor Loudon Wainwright III, has just released his fifth studio album, Release The Stars, and played at Glastonbury last week.
He’s now off to play his US tour, followed by a visit to the UK and Ireland in October.
The Vicar Street gig is fully seated and will cost €40.20. Tickets are on sale via a fan presale from Wednesday June 27 at 9am, and go on general sale at 9am on Friday June 29.
