Rufus Wainwright, American-Canadian singer-songwriter, composer, and (let’s face it) all round genius shall release a 'Best Of' compilation in March.
The collection, titled ‘Vibrate,’ showcases an exciting body of work spanning a truly unique career.
It features, among other favourites, classics such as the cover 'Hallelujah', 'The Art Teacher', 'Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk' and the incredibly moving ‘Dinner at Eight.’
The bonus disk contains recent live recordings of well-known songs, tunes featured on soundtracks like Brokeback Mountain and Moulin Rouge, plus new songs ‘Me and Liza,’ ‘Chic and Pointless’, and finally ‘WW111′-which has never before been available on a physical release.
Both a fantastic introduction to this ground-breaking artist and a must have for current fans, Vibrate: The Best of Rufus Wainwright is much anticipated.

Held by many to be one of his generation's great male vocalists and songwriters, Wainwright has performed with some of the world's best orchestras, written his own opera, and collaborated with the likes of Shirley Bassey, Elton John and Lou Reed.
Rufus will return to one of his favourite Dublin haunts, Vicar St., on March 4 for a ‘Best Of’ show. It will be something special, we promise.
