Dubliners Royseven and indie-rockers The Coronas are playing a live gig in the Sugar Club on 98fm's Dermot and Dave show tonight between 3pm and 7pm
Playing to an intimate audience in the Sugar Club on Leeson St, Dermot and Dave are hosting their drive-time show with performances from Oxegen bound Royseven and The Coronas.
Looking forward to playing to a small audience, Royseven drummer Daz said "It's great because you can dedicate a set to ever member of the audience".
Ahead of their Oxegen performance next weekend, the band recommend wellies for the mud and colostomy bags to conceal illicit drink.
Friendly Fires, The National, Beyonce and Coldplay top their must see festival weekend.
Royseven are working on new material, following the success of 'We Should Be Lovers'. "There might be a few surprises, but it won't be drastically different. We won't be doing a jazz album or going all folk. We'll move along, Daz said
Listeners were asked to text in to be in with a chance of winning tickets. "There was such a great response", said 98FM Marketing Manager Cliona Hurson, "hopefully this is the first of many!"

"I absolutely love the Coronas and Royseven, so was delighted to get them in here, they've brilliant songs and we've had them in studio a few times", said Dermot. "We haven't done anything live on this scale before" he continued.
The pair have held live shows from listener's kitchens in Dinner with Dermot and Dave. "There's a lot more things that can go wrong!".
Excited about doing the show outside of a studio "how long can you look at a haircut like Dave's?" said Dermot.
Royseven are playing the Vodafone stage at Oxegen on Sunday July 10 at 3pm
The Coronas are headlining Marlay Park on July 22.
