Hot Press can exclusively reveal that Radiohead are planning to rush release a live album
Talking last week after their barnstorming show at the Belfast Odyssey, Colin Greenwood told us: “We’re putting a live record out next month, which is eight songs from Amnesiac and Kid A. It’s going to be interesting what people think, because there are versions of the songs that we would normally have gone in and recorded, but this time we put out the studio versions first.
“So we’re thinking with the next record we might go and play and then record, trying to do a combination of what we were doing on Kid A and Amnesiac. I’d like to go and play somewhere like South America and take out lots of new songs and play them.”
According to EMI, I Might Be Wrong will be hitting the racks in November and includes versions of ‘The National Anthem’, ‘I Might Be Wrong’, ‘Morning Bell’, ‘Like Spinning Plates’, ‘Idioteque’, ‘Everything In Its Right Place’, ‘Dallas & Cents’ and ‘True Love Waits’ that were recorded in Oxford, Berlin and Oslo.
