RTE 2XM to offer 'Picnic Basket' catch-up service
RTE's digital radio station 2XM is set to re-broadcast select live performances from Electric Picnic in the week following the event.
The service will go live from around 12 midnight on Monday morning, as all the concert-goers and musicians are heading home.
Running from then until next Friday, 7 September, 2XM’s 'Picnic Basket' will feature selected live performances from the three days of this year’s Electric Picnic, so if you missed out on a show or on the festival altogether then you get the chance to go to the Picnic all over again, and again, and again, as the output is repeated for the rest of the week.
