RTÉ Concert Orchestra for The Music Show
They will host a stand at the RDS event.

The RTÉ Concert Orchestra has had a special place in Irish musical life for over 60 years, with a range that sees them equally at home in classical, opera, jazz, film, rock and traditional music.
The orchestra has performed Nessun Dorma with Pavarotti and Messiah for the Pope, played with jazz legends like Lalo Schifrin and Cleo Laine, rock musicians like Jon Lord of Deep Purple, and collaborated with top Irish acts including Sharon Shannon, Declan O’Rourke and The Coronas. In 2011 on The Late Late Show, they also performed live with Bell X1, one of the many acts set to rock the Live Stage at Ireland’s premier music weekend!
Film credits for the Concert Orchestra include Albert Nobbs by Brian Byrne, which earned a 2012 Gloden Globe nomination for 'Best Song' and also won the 2012 IFTA for 'Best Original Score'. Not only that, but their 2010 appearance at Electric Picnic was also widely acclaimed as one of the highlights of the entire weekend!
The Music Show 2012, presented by Hot Press in association with RTÉ 2fm, runs from February 25-26 in The RDS, Dublin.
