Sad news to be greeted with of a Friday morning, as word reaches HP Towers that a true musical great is no longer with us.
The legendary BB King, often referred to without hyperbole as 'The King Of The Blues', passed away in his sleep last night in Las Vegas. The Mississippi man was 89 years old and had been battling a diatebes illness.
Having started his musical career in the '40s, he went on to inspire generations of acts, U2 included. Here's the Dublin act performing 'When Loves To Town' live with the star:
