RIP Andy Foster
The Reekus Records founder has sadly passed away.

Hot Press is deeply saddened to report the death of Andy Foster, who together with his wife and business partner Elvera Butler has run the highly respected Reekus Records since 1981.
Down through the years they’ve released albums by the likes of The Blades, Saville, Sweet Jane, Perry Blake, The Moondogs, Carosel, Metisse, Big Self, Nun Attax, The Radio, Aslan and Microdisney. Many of the aforementioned feature on Too Late To Stop Now, last year’s 30th birthday compilation which should be in all self-respecting record collections.
2003 saw Reekus move into print, with the publication of It Makes You Want To Spit – The Definitive Guide To Punk In Ulster.
A true gent who was evangelical about the acts Reekus worked with, Andy who passed away unexpectedly, will be sorely missed.
