RBMA applications now being taken
The Red Bull Music Academy runs in New York during October and November.

The Red Bull Music Academy has confirmed that after previous visits to Berlin, London, Toronto, Madrid Melbourne and Cape Town its eagerly awaited 2012 edition will be held in New York during October and November.
Comprising of five weeks’ worth of workshops, concerts, club nights and all-round musical extravaganzas, the Red Bull Music Academy is aimed at producers, musicians, DJs, instrumentalists and vocalists looking to take their careers to the next level.
Application is underway now at www.redbullmusicacademy.com with April 2 deadline-day.
Before dreaming of NYC, interested parties can participate in the introductory workshops hosted by The Harlem Café, Belfast (March 2) and No 5 Spencer Dock, Dublin (3). Among those taking part are Jersey house legend Kerri Chandler and Justin Smith, AKA Just Blaze who’s either worked with or produced Jay Z, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, DMX, Fabolous, Talib Kweli and Snoop Dogg. Places are available on a first come first served basis through ashlee@admarketingevents.com.
To round things off, Mr. Chandler plays Belfast’s Stiff Kitten on March 2 with Just Blaze in Dublin’s Academy the following night. Tickets are available now from Ticketmaster.
