The competition, which is supported by Hot Press and RTÉ 2fm, has been a huge success. Now, following several rounds of judging, four regional finals have determined who will battle it out on November 21 to become this year's winning act at the Grand Final in Whelan's, Dublin. The Calvinists (the South) and
The Hot Sprockets (the East)

Each of the regional winners have had a full photo shoot at Hot Press HQ and are now set to appear on a special flip cover of Hot Press, on shelves from Thursday November 15 – 28.
