Picture This, Brian Deady, Lyra and others named as Irish acts playing at The Great Escape Festival

The UK's answer to SXSW Festival and Eurosonic Festival, The Great Escape features nine Irish artists this year.

The festival, which takes place from May 18-20, takes place in Brighton and features some of the best up-and-coming acts from right across Europe and the US. So far, over 200 acts have been announced, including nine of the finest from Ireland.

The list of Irish performers are: Aine Cahill, Brian Deady, Catherine McGrath, Hare Squead, Lyra, Marc O'Reilly, Maria Kelly, Picture This, Rosborough. See here for more details.
