Oldcastle prepares for festival fun!
The Le Chéile festival takes place this weekend in the Meath town
The Le Chéile Arts and Music Festival takes place over the upcoming August bank holiday weekend. Among those gearing up to perform are Cork man Mick Flannery, rockabilly kings Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club, and Kildare singer Jack L.
Band of the moment Fight Like Apes will also make an appearance, and if their showcase of fantastically named new album The Body Of Christ and the Legs of Tinaa Turner at the recent Hot Press Yearbook launch is anything to go by, we can't wait to see what they've got up their electro-poptastic sleeves!
For those who want to keep the party going after the last of the stage shows, there will be an after party each night in local spot Caffrey's Redroom. Entry is free with a festival wristband, or a recession busting €5 without.
