Olaf Tyaransen to interview Irvine Welsh

An audience with the acclaimed Scottish writer...

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 04 Apr 2012

Hot Press' Olaf Tyaransen will conduct a public interview with Scottish author Irvine Welsh at The Pavillion Theatre in Dun Laoghaire on April 24 as part of the DLR Library Voice Series.

Welsh, pictured here with Olaf and friends, is responsible for Trainspotting and several other notable works including its 2002 sequel, Porno. His latest, Skag Boys, is set for release later this year and sees Welsh returning to familiar territory, offering up a prequel of sorts focusing on the lives of Renton, Sick Boy, et al.

Skag Boys - and much more besides - will be up for discussion when Olaf sits down with Welsh following a reading from his latest tome. Tickets priced €8 and €10 are available here.
