With the recording their new album still in progress, Irish fans can rest assured that Oasis have confirmed a live Dublin date for next summer
2005 is shaping up to be a big year for Oasis with the band announcing a July 16 visit to Marlay Park in Dublin.
Tickets priced €59.50 go on sale at 9am on Saturday, November 20.
By then the band should have completed their new album, which has been subject to more delays than even Ryanair could find excuses for. Oasis are currently in Los Angeles where they're trying to persuade Ringo Starr to guest on one of the tracks.
"Zak Starkey is drumming on the bulk of it, and we're gonna try – while we're out here – to get his dad down the studio 'cos he lives in LA," reveals Noel Gallagher.

"We've got this one song which is quite…well, funnily enough, it sounds like The Beatles, and we're gonna try and get him and his dad on the same track."
Noel isn't counting his proverbials before they're hatched though. "He must just tell us to fuck off!" he says, ever the silver-tongued devil.
