Ex-Oasis frontman (and more importantly, current Hot Press cover star!) Noel Gallagher has entered the Irish album chart at No. 1 with his solo record Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. In our new issue, the singer chats to Stuart Clark about making the album, the Irish presidential race, and his tempestuous relationship with lil bro Liam.
X-Factor star Matt Cardle is new in at No. 2 with Letters, while Adele drops to No. 3 with her sophomore offering 21.
Meath singer-songwriter Lisa Hannigan is this week's No. 4 with Passengers, while Christina Perri completes the top five with Lovestrong.
There are just two new entries this week; easy-listening star and mammys' favourite Daniel O'Donnell, with The Ultimate Collectionat No. 22, and Peter Gabriel, with New Blood at No. 42.
