His High Flying Birds will be the very special guests next June.
Already gearing up to be one of the shows of next summer, the Red Hot Chili Pepper's trip to Dublin's historic Croke Park on June 26 just became even more of an event.
It has been announced this morning that Noel Gallagher (you might remember him from a little Britpop outfit called Oasis) will be the special guest on the night.
It marks a trinity of Dublin shows from the Mancunian melodist – having kicked off his first ever solo tour of Europe in the Olympia on October 23, it was revealed that he would be back for another date at the O2 on February 17. That massive show sold out in seconds, meaning our appetite for all things Noel is yet to be sated. Thankfully for those of you who missed out, you can now catch him pre-Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Ahead of all that live action, be sure to pick up the new Hot Press Annual for an exclusive interview with Gallagher, in stores tomorrow, Thursday December 15.
