EP will be launched with special one-off show

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 13 Sep 2010

Following the success of their debut Oxfam EP, Nighthawks - based out of the Project Arts Centre - are launching a second EP for the charity on Saturday, October 30.

All money raised from this unique EP, which contains music, spoken word and comedy, will go to Oxfam after Nighthawks funded the recording and producing of the record themselves.

Tickets for the launch, which will feature the musical talents of Thomas Walsh (Pugwash, The Duckworth Lewis Method), Fiach and Enda Reilly, cost €17.50 and are available from www.projectartscentre.ie.

Each ticket also comes with a free copy of the new EP.

Thomas Walsh was the underappreciated genius of Irish rock until his Duckworth Lewis Method hook-up with Neil Hannon put him on the map. One Ivor Novello nomination later, his band Pugwash are signed to a major and he’s receiving fan mail from ELO’s Jeff Lynne.
