New music club for Donegal

Jackson's Hotel in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal have launched Jackson's Friday Night Music Club, with a mission to showcase singer/songwriters from a disparate range of genres, including folk, blues, trad, ambient and beyond.

The club, located in the hotel’s Drumboe Suite, has been conceived by Marty McCool and Barry Jackson, and renowned singer/songwriter Maria Doyle Kennedy (pictured) was the first person to perform at the club on its opening night two weeks ago.

Sean Keane will play the club on Friday December 5.
