His 10th studio album will be entitled Mutineers.
Bound for a bunch of great Irish festivals this summer – Westport, DayTripper and Groove, to be precise – David Gray has just confirmed he'll have new material to share with everyone at the shows.
His first new record since Foundling in 2010, Mutineers was recorded in Church Studios in London, produced by Andy Barlow and, most importantly, will land on June 27. Ahead of that, Gray has released the video for 'Gulls' as our first taste of the new album.

The June 27 release means Gray will likely be in party mode – sensitive, soul-baring, singer-songwriter party mode, of course – when he plays the Westport Festival the following night, Saturday June 28. From there, he headlines DayTripper in Waterford on July 5 and Groove down Wicklow way on July 6.
