New release marks the beginning of a hectic period for the traditional Irish outfit...
Following a two-year break, Na Fianna are back with a new lease of life and an exciting new CD/DVD made up of recordings taken from a session at the Trad Nua studios in Dublin last August.
The skilled quartet shot to fame in 2009 when they finished as runners-up on the All-Ireland Talent Show. The Stable Sessions is available from November 28 and brings a fresh approach to some of Irelands best known ballads and folk songs, with the likes of 'Drunken Sailor', 'The Rocky Road To Dublin' and 'Step It Out Mary' among the tracks on offer.
The release marks the beginning of a very hectic schedule for Na Fianna, with the boys set to record a brand new studio album under the careful guidance of producer Bill Shanley of Cauldron Studios, set for release in 2015 to coincide with the band's upcoming European and United States tour. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for further developments.
