The five rising stars chosen to collaborate with students from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, recently saw their videos unveiled at Dublin's Spy Bar
Hot Press and the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University, launch a talent search bi-annually to find the artists and bands most deserving of the video treatment.
And this time round, the lucky artists were: Talulah Does The Hula, Brian Deady, Saving J, Bill Coleman and The Candides. Their videos were premiered on Tuesday May 4 in Dublin's Spy Bar.
"The quality of the videos made under the Tisch - Hot Press programme has been brilliant so far, with many of them ending up on national TV both in Ireland and abroad," Niall Stokes said. "This unique initiative has created a marvellous body of work, with over 100 videos already in the can, featuring some of the biggest names in Irish music, from The Frames and The Coronas to Julie Feeney and Duke Special.
