More bands added to gig for Michael D. Higgins
A raft of new names have been added to the bill for the 'Gig for Michael D.', on Sunday October 23, in The Village, Dublin.
The gig is headlined by The Stunning, doing their first Dublin gig in two years. Now, indie favourites Si Schroeder, Joe Chester and Ghozties have been added to the bill – with other special guests also being lined up.
Si Schroedr released one of the most widely praised albums of the year in 2006 with Coping Mechanisms. Joe Chester has just released his powerful new album She Darks Me – the follow-up to the acclaimed A Murder of Crows. Ghozties, meanwhile, are a Dublin-based dubstep five piece, who are beginning to look like a real force to be reckoned with.
Also confirmed for the night are Sally Foran and Anna Nolan, who will be DJing in the downstairs area in The Village. Anna will be accompanied by another very special guest.
With an expectation of plenty of other special guests getting involved, it is shaping up to be a brilliant night's music. Tickets are available from [link]www.wavtickets.com[/link].
