Mick Flannery's third debuts at number one

He's knocked Madonna off the top of the album chart.

His fine third LP Red To Blue dropped March 30 and now Cork singer-songwriter Mick Flannery finds himself at the summit of the Irish Album Chart.

It is Mick's first number one and certainly deserves the honour – it may be his most assured collection to date.

Elsewhere, Madge's new MDNA suffers a steep drop from No. 1 to 11, whilst David Guetta sits in second place. Bruce Springsteen, Moshi Monsters and Nicki Minaj make up the rest of the top five.
