Mick Flannery's third debuts at number one
He's knocked Madonna off the top of the album chart.
His fine third LP Red To Blue dropped March 30 and now Cork singer-songwriter Mick Flannery finds himself at the summit of the Irish Album Chart.
It is Mick's first number one and certainly deserves the honour – it may be his most assured collection to date.
Elsewhere, Madge's new MDNA suffers a steep drop from No. 1 to 11, whilst David Guetta sits in second place. Bruce Springsteen, Moshi Monsters and Nicki Minaj make up the rest of the top five.
Pick up the latest issue of Hot Press for a revealing interview with Flannery, where he talks about the stress of life as a touring musician and his plans to up sticks and head to Nashville.
