Meet the new breed of super-fan
This isn't just a man with a CD stuck to his head. What we are looking at here is the new breed of super-fan.
This morning Barry Ryan left his home in Terenure and pointed himself in the direction of Today FM. Oh, did we mention that he had The Dead Heavys' CD stuck to his forehead?
Barry's mission appears to be a simple one. Try and engage with as many folk as possible on his way to Marconi House in Digges Lane, in doing so, spread the good word of his favourite band The Dead Heavys, and on arrival try and get Today FM to play one of their songs. Why? Simple: he loves the band.
It appears to have worked as Barry is quickly becoming a bit of an internet sensation as the comments and messages of goodwill pour in on Today FM's Facebook page.
Have a listen below to see if Barry was successful in his quest. Check out the funktastic 'Everybody In The Night' below too.
Every band needs a fan like Barry. Well done Sir!
