Mary Black Announces Dublin Dates

The popular folk singer will play The Grand Canal Theatre…

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 27 Oct 2011

After selling out three shows last June, Mary Black has confirmed she will return to Dublin on May 13 next year.

Her new album Stories from the Steeple was released last week. It’s been six years since the Irish songstress produced a studio album, so folk fans have been clamouring to hear polished new material. The album sees modern collaborations with Imelda May and Janis Ian, plus three new songs from Irish songwriter Danny O’Reilly.

An acclaimed live performer, Black will be joined by her band to play her recent hit ‘Marguerite and the Gambler’ as well as her current single ‘Walkin with my Love’.

Tickets are €33.50 including booking fee and go on sale Thursday November 3. You can buy them at ticketmaster outlets or online at www.ticketmaster.ie
