Mark Eitzel for Irish show
The celebrated American singer-songwriter returns to play five dates...
After a string of bad luck that included a heart attack and the collapse of his band American Music Club in 2011, Mark Eitzel is to tour his new Don’t Be A Stranger album here this Ferbruary.
The story of how Don't Be A Stranger came to fruition is one of bad fortune and amazingly good luck. In May 2011, Eitzel suffered a heart attack that kept him out of the studio for several months, and forced the former American Music Club member to seriously re-evaluate his habits and lifestyle. Good luck soon appeared though in the form of a lottery win, as Eitzels friend scooped the jackpot and generously offered to the fund the recording.
Eitzel will play five dates including Dublin, Cork, Kilkenny, Galway and Belfast.
Feb 21 Dublin - Workman's Club
Feb 22 Cork - Cyprus Ave
Feb 23 Kilkenny - Cleeres
Feb 25 Galway - Roisin Dubh
Feb 26 Belfast – Errigle Inn
