Irish singer-songwriter Marc O’Reilly will release his new album Morality Mortality at the end of October.
Following the release of his critically acclaimed albums My Friend Marx and Human Herdings Marc O’Reilly has established himself as one of the most innovative artists within the folk/blues genre, being compared to artists such as John Martyn and Bon Iver.
Marc has toured extensively over the summer, appearing at Glastonbury, Electric Picnic and Boardmasters festivals, as well as jetting off to Napa Valley in California to play at the Live at the Vineyard Festival.
Marc also has a side project with his brother Pierre and they work as an electronic duo under the name ‘R’. The duo received support on UK radio for their debut single ‘Change’, with tastemakers such as Steve Lamacq (BBC6 Music) and Janice Long (BBC Radio 2) both giving the song airtime.
Now Marc is currently in the midst of an extensive autumn tour to support the release of his new album and which has played dates in Germany and the UK. He will be coming to Ireland later this month, playing at Roisin Dubh, Galway on October 20, Dolan's, Limerick (21), and Cyprus Avenue, Cork (22).

Marc will then make his way through Europe again before coming back to play a string of dates in November. He will play Whelan's, Dublin on November 24, The Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast (25), Spirit Store, Dundalk (26), and St Patrick's Gateway, Waterford, December 3.
Further dates on the European tour include: QFactory, Amsterdam, November 2, Hedon, Zwolle (3), De Spieghel, Groningen (4), Tower, Bremen (5), Studio 672, Koln (6), Pnyhof, Frankfurt (8), Halle02 Club, Heidelberg (9), La Parenthese, Nyon (10), Jolly Rogers, Lorrach (11), Beatpol, Dresden (15), Horns Erben, Leipzig (16), Auster Club, Berlin (17), Museumkeller, Erfurt (18), Paard, The Hague (19), Merleyn, Nijmegen (20).
Martality, Martality will be released October 28 on Virgin Records.
