Marc Almond to play Dublin
Former Soft Cell man Marc Almond will be playing the capital in 2008.
He's set to play Vicar St. on February 28.
Almond shot to fame with Soft Cell in the early 80s, who were responsible for one of the biggest and most enduring hits of the decade in 'Tainted Love'. He has also had a distinguished solo career, the high point of which was his duet with the late Gene Pitney on 'Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart'.
He survived a serious motorcycle crash in 2004 and has recently released his first album since his recovery, a collection of covers entitled Stardom Road.
