M.I.A. has seen the graphic music video for her single ‘Born Free’ removed from You Tube.
If you’re at a loss for something to do this Monday afternoon you could do worse than checking out the new M.I.A. track ‘Born Free’. That’s exactly what Hot Press was doing until we found the video had been removed from You Tube at around 3pm.
Fear not though, because the video, which contains scenes of nudity, violence and swearing, is available below. However, if you’re at work, it might be best to wait until you get home before pressing play!
Directed by Romain Gavras, who has previously worked with Justice and Simian Mobile Disco, the video uses the capture and murder of red haired members of society as a metaphor for human segregation, either that or Ms. Arulpragasam (we prefer M.I.A. too) really doesn’t like ginger kids.
Warning: This video contains scenes of nudity and violence.
