Trail through city's streets will fill the heart
The capital will be transformed into a lovers' wonderland on February 14, as Dublin City Council present a unique take on Valentine's Day.
The streets will host pop-up photo shoots, and guerrilla poetry on bridges along the Liffey. There's also ukelele poet, who will be surprising lovebirds along the quays with roses, chocolates, and colorful ditties.
The action is rounded off with a concert in Meeting House Square at 9pm, featuring performances from Cathy Davey and Ham Sandwich, amongst others.
There's also the promise of a three-course meal at Meeting House Bar and Restaurant for the best alternative love quote posted with the hashtag #Dublinbemyvalentine. The winning line will also be immortalised on Anna Doran's Lovers Lane wall. The lucky winner will be announced on Twitter via @Events_DCC, which is where you'll find all the details for the day's events.
