The 1D star has said that Justin Bieber let down his fans with his bizarre move to cancel the remaining dates of his world tour.
The Canadian popstar made the surprise decision due to "unforeseen circumstances" to cancel the rest of his 'Purpose World Tour' back in late July.
Bieber, who was recently banned from playing in China and is now rumoured to be planning to start his own Church, had been scheduled live dates in USA, Canada, Japan, Philippines and Indonesia.
But Louis insists that the show must always go on. “Obviously, you have to be in a good position mentally, but I also think, to a certain degree, when you’re signing up to something, you should see it through,” he told radio station 92.3 AMP in a recent interview.
“There’s never enough that I can say or do for the fans. I think people can forget that, to be quite honest.”
He added: “I get it, the whole game is so exciting and crazy, but at the end of the day, it’s the people buying the records that are putting you where you are.”
The unexpected decision to cancel the tour was announced on Bieber's website. The statement read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them.
"He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months. He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run.
"However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”
