It will be the Tyneside band's first Irish headliner
The self-confessed "kitchen sink" indie band Little Comets are coming to Dublin.
They'll take to the Academy 2 stage on Friday March 4. The group signed to Columbia Records in early 2009, releasing their debut single 'One Night In October' in February that year, and are now planning to release their debut album In Search Of Elusive Little Comets at the end of the month.
The first single from the album, 'Joanna', is out on January 17. Drawing on the music of Ella Fitzgerald and Paul Simon, and having gained plaudits from the likes of Huw Stephens, Zane Lowe and Sara Cox, Little Comets are ones to watch for 2011.
