Laura Marling announces Vicar St date
The singer will visit these shores for a one off December show
English folk singer Laura Marling has announced a Vicar St date on December 7. Marling, who released I Speak Because I Can last April to much acclaim, appeared at Dublin's Academy shortly afterwards to showcase the album. Hot Press deemed the performance "spellbinding."
I Speak Because I Can followed Marling's debut Alas I Cannot Swim, released when the talented singer was just 17. Through this new album Marling has "sought out her own identity, and found herself to be thoroughly English, unapologetically female, and a fully-fledged musician in her own right."
