The gothy shoegazers perform a very special tribute to the House music icon.
The sudden death of Chicago House originator Frankie Knuckles a few weeks ago was incredibly sad news for all music fans. Though Knuckles had struggled with ill health for sometime he was DJing in London only days before his tragic passing at the age of 58.
There has been no shortage of public outpourings of respect and kind words for Knuckles and his legacy but leather-clad indie boys the Horrors took to the airwaves to pay their respects in their own unique style.
Last night as live guests on the Zane Lowe show they were offered the opportunity to play a cover of their liking and the boy (bless ‘em) opted for a moody rendition of Knuckles’ famed floor filler Your Love.

The Horrors imbued the iconic House track with their own eerie, shoegaze swagger and you can enjoy the radio session in full just below. ('Your Love' kicks off at the 18 minute mark).
