They've covered 'The Rains Of Castamere', taken from the A Song Of Ice And Fire novels.
Considering the epic, otherworldly appeal of Game Of Thrones (plus the more pragmatic fact quite a bit of it is filmed in Iceland), you would think the most obvious sonic fit for its soundtrack would be one Sigur Rós. Finally, in season four, the ethereal post-rockers and the hit HBO show are colliding in glorious sound.
Jónsi and co have covered 'The Rains Of Castamere', a song deeply embedded in Game Of Thrones / A Song Of Ice And Fire lore. It's also a tune previously played by The National. Check out both versions before.
