'A Good Night's Sleep & Cab Fare Home' arrives ahead of that second album.
They've been touring this summer, as always, like demons but The Strypes are also firmly looking ahead to that impending second album.
Little Victories arrives August 21 and today we get a brand new song from it.
'A Good Night's Sleep & A Cab Fare Home' (have they been listening to early Alex Turner?) is the second sonic slice we get from the LP, following on from the June arrival of lead single 'Get Into It'.
An anthemic tune with a memorable guitar line, it officially sees the light of day as a single on August 28. Check it out below.
“It’s just a progression," Josh McClorey says of the parent album. "It’s like comparing what we were listening to when we were 12 and 13 to what we’re listening to now. It’s obviously going to be different.”
The Cavan quartet will be giving their new material a live airing in Ireland this autumn. You can catch them in Derry's Nerve Centre on September 23 and The Academy, Dublin, on September 24.
