With a new album, Ashes & Fire due out October 10, the hardest working man in alt-country has just unveiled new track 'Lucky Now' to the world.

The mid-tempo number, replete with a typically sumptuous melody, is the first offering from his first solo album since leaving The Cardinals.

While it's still too early to guess at the overall quality of the latest offering from the prodigious and productive-to-a-fault talent, all signs are good and those hoping for him to hark back to the days of Heartbreaker should be particularly impressed
