Their first album of new material in a decade.
Apart from touring, most of the noise coming out of the New Order camp has concerned the squabbles between members old and new in recent times. They've finally gotten back to the business of making music, however, and plan to share it with the world this September. Music Complete will be their first new album of completely new material since 2005's Waiting For The Sirens' Call (2013's Lost Sirens simply gathered up leftover tracks from those sessions) and will be with us on September 25.
It will be their 10th studio effort, first on Mute and first without estranged founding bassist Peter Hook, though keyboardist Gillian Gilbert will be back for the first time since 2001's Get Ready.
The band say the new LP “finds the group revitalised... where the group has previously pushed toward electronics or guitars, here the two are in balance.”
Here's a 30 second teaser and the track listing:
1. 'Restless'
2. 'Singularity'
