LISTEN: New Blur

It's fair to say yesterday was a bit of 'an event' for any former Brit poppers or lovers of decent British music in general. Damon, Graham, Alex and Dave unveiled their first new material since the one-off 'Fool's Day' of 2010. Streaming through Twitter, the four took to a rooftop for runs through the meditative, stately 'Under The Westway' (think 'This Is A Low' sentiment mixed with 'A Whiter Shade Of Pale' vibes) and 'The Puritan' (a more frenetic proposition that culminates in an earwormy "la la" refrain).
