Julie Feeney announces winter dates
A new album is coming along with a rake of nationwide shows.
Julie Feeney is finishing 2012 with a flurry of activity including the release here on November 16 of her as-yet-untitled third album.
To celebrate she plays official launch gigs in the Druid Theatre, Galway (November 19); White Horse, Ballincollig (29) and Pepper Canister, Dublin (December 7).
The Choice Music Prize winner is simultaneously embarking on a #10Nights10Choirs tour that takes in the Source Arts Centre, Thurles (November 16); Solstice Arts Centre, Navan (18); Hawkswell Theatre, Sligo (19); Siamsa Tire, Tralee (20); Belltable, Limerick (21); Watergate Theatre, Kilkenny (22); George Bernard Shaw Theatre, Carlow (23); Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge (24); Draiocht Arts Centre, Blanchardstown (25) and Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar (December 10). Which choir is appearing where will be announced shortly.
For an intimate introduction to her new material, try and catch the divine Ms. F on October 13 when she plays the Holy Trinity Church as part of the Westport Arts Festival.
