The punk rocker turned award-winning scribe, talking head and more is planning to publish his collected journalism.
Aiming to follow in the footsteps of such rock 'n' roll written classics as Lester Bangs' Psychotic Reactions And Carburetor Dug and Nick Kent's The Dark Stuff, John Robb's Do You Believe In The Power Of Rock And Roll? will bring together hundreds of Robb's interviews and live reviews spanning an incredible five decades.
The man who first waxed lyrical about Nirvana in print and coined the term 'Britpop' has been there, done that and written a catchy slogan or two for the t-shirt, so an entertaining, insightful read is pretty much guaranteed.
To make sure it sees the light of day, Robb has launched a crowd-funded campaign over on Unbound. Click here to find out more and get involved. For an e-book, pledge £10, whilst £30 gets you a sewn hardback collector's edition. There are plenty more options to peruse, and bags of other goodies on offer. And, of course, you'll be playing your part in getting the project off the ground.
