Joe Strummer tribute night
Dublin's punkerati will be out in force to celebrate the legendary Clash man
Eamonn Doran’s is the venue on December 21 for the sixth annual Joe Strummer tribute gig.
Kicking off at eight, the night will feature punk covers band Clash Jam Wallop, Dubtones, Primetevo and DJ Boz Mugabe (possibly not his real name).
Tickets are €12 with all proceeds going to the Irish Heart Foundation.
Joe, who died in 2002 from a heart attack, is also celebrated in Julian Temple’s The Future Is Unwritten, which was recently released on DVD.
We can also thoroughly recommend the new Clash album, Live At Shea Stadium, which features Mr. Strummer at his snarling best.
