Lazybird, Dublin's original experimental live music night, is four years old this weekend
To celebrate four years as Dublin's longest running live/improvised/experimental music club, Lazybird is having a big birthday party on December 12 in Mother Redcaps.
With more acts still to be confirmed, the current line up is Jimmy Edgar (Warp Records), Dry County, Fire Music All Stars, Japanese Eye and Betamax Format.
Admission for what is certain to be a jam-packed evening is prriced at €15. Doors open at 6.30pm.
The Lazybird crew are purveyors of live leftfield music every Sunday night in Dublin's International bar, nurturing everything from rock to jazz to drone to electronica.

Past guests have included Daemian Frost, Herv, Ann Scott, Chuzzle, Life After Modeling, Ambulance and The Alphabet Set, as well as releasing acts like Rollers/Sparkers and Dry County on the Lazybird label.
Lovers of music that falls left-of-center should be at this special birthday show, or check out the regular club that has been an important force in Dublin's abstract music scene over the past four years.
Happy birthday Lazybird!
