Jessie J's 'Price Tag' most played in 2011

Compiled by the PPI (Phonographic Performance Ireland Limited) from 37 national and local stations, the list of last year's most ubiquitous tracks has just been revealed and Jessie J's 'Price Tag' came out on top.

At No. 2 was Maroon 5's 'Moves Like Jagger' while 'Rolling In The Deep' by Adele was third.

Three Irish artists hit the top 30 most played songs in the country: The Script were highest, with 'If Ever You Come Back' at 7, Royseven followed at 11 with 'We Should Be Lovers', while Voice Of Ireland judge Bressie was at 21.

PPI CEO Dick Doyle commented: "'It's very gratifying to see how well Irish artists have performed in the chart against such stiff international competition."
