The 9th summer of big Marquee gigs down in the People's Republic is fast approaching and another big name has been added to a list of performers that already includes Elvis Costello, The National, Thee Boomtown Rats, ZZ Top and Elton John.

Having spent most of 2012 strutting across the world's biggest stages ≠ Buckingham Palace for the Queen's Jubilee, multiple appearances at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics – she'll be well and truly up for a gig of this magnitude, lending Marquee proceedings a little pop.
