The third annual Kilkenny TradFest kicks off across The Marble City this Saturday (March 14) and over the course of four days will play host to a number of exciting his, talks, ceiilis and workshops.
With the likes of Sharon Shannon, Mary Black and Donal Lunny all confirmed, we have a number of promising additions to the bill today.
Jape's Richie Egan will be joining Lisa Hannigan and Dylan Haskins for Soundings: Holy Trinity. Taking place Sunday at Kilkenny Castle, Egan will perform and chat about his three songs to inspire, alarm and humour.
With Culture Vultures leaving Dublin for the first time, acclaimed writer Peter Murphy will be on hand to deliver James Joyce's 'The Dead' in the Hole In The Wall at 5pm on Saturday.
Uileann piper Leonard Barry has joined the Culture Vultures panel discussion, ed by Tony Clayton-Lea.
