Japanese Popstars serve up psychedelic new video
You can treat your eyes to it here!
Our friends at BBC Radio Ulster’s Across The Line have drawn our attention to this ace video for The Japanese Popstars Feat. Green Velvet’s ‘Let Go’.
Created “over an intensive 20 day period in September”, the clip was assembled by Malcolm Draper whose CV includes The Beatles’ Yellow Submarine and Pink Floyd’s The Wall and Keaton Henson, a young London animator who’s also worked with acts like Party Song, Nests and Oliver Dalston Browning.
The Northern Irish dance merchants have DJ gigs coming up in Dolan’s, Limerick (October 14); Solar, County Meath (15); Genesis, Athlone (20); The Clarence, Sligo (21); Queens, Ennis (November 19); Sandino’s, Derry (December 23); and The Forum, Waterford (29).
There are also full live gigs to look forward to in an as yet unspecified Dublin venue (November 27) and The Stiff Kitten, Belfast (December 18).
