The dubstep poster-boy will be at The Academy in August.
A triple bill of some of the most exciting names in dance have announced their plans to spin the decks in Dublin this August and the crown prince of dubstep is among them. On August 3, a night where Ireland's electronic fanatics will surely descend on The Academy, Dublin, James Blake will join Chilean-American innovator of progressive electro-dub (yes, we might have made that term up) Space Dimension Controller, and The Chain, comprising Dan Foat and Nathan Boddy, both leading figures at R&S Records.
R&S, the London-based and Belgian-born indie label have a particularly impressive stabel right now and are behind the already eagerly-anticipated night of DJing. The 'Wilhem Scream' singer will no doubt be the big draw, but the entire evening should prove to be most enjoyable. Tickets will set you back €17.50 and go on sale this Friday, June 15.
