Iron & Wine announce Irish dates
Just confirmed for the Belfast Queen's Festival, Iron & Wine will also play dates in Cork and Dublin
If it's strummed acoustics, twanged banjos and lazy slide guitars you're after, look no further than Iron & Wine who do their alt. country thing at the Belfast Queen's Festival (November 3); An Cruiscin Lan, Cork (4); and Whelan's, Dublin (5).
The brainchild of bearded Florida tunesmith Sam Beam, Iron & Wine's deafeningly quiet blues-folk has found a home at Nirvana's former label, Sub Pop, who've just released their Our Endless Numbered Days album.
