Tribal is in with a golden bullet this week.
Fending off heavyweight competition from male solo stars Paolo Nutini and Damon Albarn, Imelda May proves her enormous popularity in this country with a No. 1 placing at the first time of trying.
The Liberties star's fourth record, Tribal, is the biggest selling album in Ireland this week, following on from her last two chart-toppers, Love Tattoo and Mayhem.
It means recent Hot Press cover star Paolo Nutini moves down to second with his Caustic Love.
Another man you will have seen staring out at you from magazine stands of late is at No. 3. Damon Albarn's first solo effort, Everyday Robots charts high in its first week of release.
It seems the Irish people have just woken up to the fact that there is a new Pixies record out. After bizarrely only achieving a No. 78 placing last week, Indie Cindy rockets up the charts to take fourth place. Kodaline's In A Perfect World, something of a chart constant over the past year, rounds off the Top 5.
